Ar ddiwedd mis Hydref, roedd Conwy Castle yn sefyll fel canrifoedd o hanes yn aros i gael eu darganfod.
At the end of October, Conwy Castle stood as centuries of history waiting to be discovered.
Roedd y gwynt oer yn chwythu dros yr adfeilion, yn codi dail o'r llawr fel ysbrydion o'r gorffennol.
The cold wind blew over the ruins, lifting leaves from the ground like spirits of the past.
Ar y noson o Samhuinn, pan oedd y biliau rhwng byd y byw a'r meirw ar eu tenauaf, daeth Emrys, Carys, ac Aneira i'r castell i chwilio am straeon cudd.
On the night of Samhuinn, when the veils between the world of the living and the dead were at their thinnest, Emrys, Carys, and Aneira came to the castle in search of hidden stories.
Cafodd Emrys ei ddenu i'r lleoliad gan yr awydd i wneud darganfyddiad aruthrol, rhywbeth a fyddai'n sicr o roi ei enw ar fap yr archaeolegwyr gorau.
Emrys was drawn to the location by the desire to make an extraordinary discovery, something that would surely put his name on the map of the best archaeologists.
Roedd Carys, cynhyrchydd y rhaglen ddogfen, yn awyddus i gofnodi pob moment ddramatig, yn dduwiol am yr emosiwn a fyddai'n gadael y gwylwyr ar gôr eu boliau.
Carys, the documentary producer, was eager to document every dramatic moment, devoutly seeking the emotion that would leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
Ond roedd Aneira, yr hanesydd, yn teimlo gafael y lle, ei stôriadau hynafol yn adleisio yn ei chalon.
But Aneira, the historian, felt the grip of the place, its ancient stories echoing in her heart.
"Mae cwympiadau'r noson hon yn fwy na thirwedd i ymchwilio," meddai Aneira, wrth iddynt gerdded drwy'r garthbell gadarn.
"The falls of this night are more than a landscape to explore," said Aneira as they walked through the sturdy battlements.
"Mae hanes y lle yn ailfyw yn yr eiliadau hyn.
"The history of the place comes alive in these moments."
"Roedd Emrys yn ffocysu ar ei ddyfeisiadau i adnabod metel o dan gerrig ysbryd-garreg.
Emrys focused on his devices to detect metal under the ghostly stones.
"Hanes neu beidio, mae'n rhaid i ni ganfod rhywbeth," rhybuddiodd wrth gwrs fe ddalodd ei lygad y llosgi llygad gyda'r termau.
"History or not, we must find something," he warned, even as his eyes caught the burning eye with the terms.
"Byddai stori melltigedig neu arsyllu yn dda ar gyfer y camera," mentrodd Carys, yn edrych drwy lens ei camera fel y byddai'n cofnodi'r emosiwn hwnnw.
"A cursed story or a haunting would be great for the camera," ventured Carys, looking through the lens as she aimed to capture that emotion.
Wrth i'r haul droedio i'r gorwel, ymddangosodd niwl trwchus yn codi o iard y castell.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, a thick mist appeared, rising from the castle yard.
Yn sydyn, roedd sŵn swnllyd, fel murmurion o orffennol wedi eu diflannu, yn llenwi'r awyr.
Suddenly, there was a loud noise, like murmurs from a forgotten past filling the air.
Desgriad Aneira yn tynnu sylw at Emrys, gan awgrymu iddynt stopio am funud i wrando.
Aneira's description caught Emrys's attention, suggesting they stop for a moment to listen.
"Mae'r tir hwn yn siarad," daeth geiriau Aneira yn ddistaw.
"This land is speaking," Aneira's words came softly.
Roedd rhywbeth hudolus am y ffordd y cymerodd y dychan, ond roedd Emrys yn ansicr beth i’w wneud am hynny.
There was something magical about the way the land echoed, but Emrys was unsure what to do about it.
Roedd y swn yn cynyddu, a phob dipyn, teimlai fel petai rhywbeth yn dod yn nes.
The sound increased, and gradually, it felt as if something was drawing nearer.
Diwedd emosiynol daeth pan welodd Emrys ddisgleirdeb unigryw yn y gwymon o dan un o'r archau.
The emotional climax came when Emrys saw a unique shine in the grass beneath one of the arches.
Roedd yn garreg â llythyrau hynafol wedi'u cerfio arni.
It was a stone with ancient letters carved on it.
Nid aur foethus oedd hi, ond carreg llawn hanes.
It wasn't lavish gold, but a stone full of history.
Roedd Emrys, yn wleidyddol, yn sylweddoli mai'r gwir amgueddfa oedd hyn.
Emrys, politically aware, realized that this was the true museum.
Nid oedd hynny am ei gyflwr personol, ond am y stori ei hun.
It wasn't about his personal stature but about the story itself.
Wedi cydnabod gwir bresenoldeb y gorffennol yn y presennol, darganfu gwerth newydd—heb fod yn rhedeg tuag at glod personol.
Having acknowledged the true presence of the past in the present, he discovered a new value—not running toward personal acclaim.
Cofnododd Carys y darganfyddiad gyda chyffro newydd, yn falch nad oedd hanesion cynnod yn rôl bwysicaf y stori.
Carys recorded the discovery with newfound excitement, pleased that ancient tales weren't the most important role of the story.
Roedd y ddogfen ati i ddod yn deyrnged i dreftadaeth gwirioneddol.
The documentary became a tribute to true heritage.
Daeth Emrys i sylweddoli bod hela hanes yn fwy na hynny, roedd yn pasio ymlaen i'r genedlaethau i ddod.
Emrys came to realize that hunting for history was about more than that; it was about passing it on to future generations.
Yng ngoleuni cwymp y dydd, gyda'r hanes yn bywhau unwaith yn rhagor ar ffurf garreg syml, cerddodd y tri i ffwrdd gyda chariad newydd at yr hyn na ellir ei gyflwyno mewn unig inc.
In the twilight of the day, with history coming alive once more in the form of a simple stone, the three walked away with a newfound love for what cannot be conveyed in mere ink.
Roedd y noson Samhuinn yn hawlio ei hysbrydoliaeth, ac roedd y tîm wedi dysgu para a gwrando i'r lleisiau go iawn sydd yn gwybod stori'r tir gorau.
The night of Samhuinn claimed its inspiration, and the team had learned to pause and listen to the real voices that know the land's best stories.
