  • Ar fore braf, dan gymylau trymion hirion, dechreuodd Eira a Llyr eu cerdded i fyny llwybrau creigiog Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri.

On a fine morning, beneath the looming heavy clouds, Eira and Llyr began their walk up the rocky paths of Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri.

  • Roedd y coed derw a'r bedw yn arddangos lliwiau'r hydref gyda thafluniadau o oren a melyn yn crynhoi gwyrddni'r haf sydd wedi mynd heibio.

The oak and birch trees displayed the colors of autumn, with bursts of orange and yellow collecting the green of the summer that has passed.

  • Roedd awel oer yn cario arogl mwsogl a duonbicyllawr, gan fywiogi'r llwybrau.

A cold breeze carried the scent of moss and bilberries, invigorating the paths.

  • Teimlodd Eira fod hyn yn dynged, amser y penwythnos Calan Gaeaf i wneud iawn am y blynyddoedd rhwng hi a'i brawd, Llyr.

Eira felt this was destiny, the time of the Halloween weekend to make up for the years between her and her brother, Llyr.

  • Trodd Llyr ei lygaid i'r sgrin ffôn yn ei law a dilyn ei chwaer heb fwriad i ddechrau sgwrs.

Llyr turned his eyes to the phone screen in his hand and followed his sister without intent to start a conversation.

  • Telgodd Eira wynt fychan trwy ei thrwyn, teimlodd angen mawr i geisio troi’r tawelwch yn rhywbeth gwell.

Eira exhaled slightly through her nose, feeling a strong need to try to turn the silence into something better.

  • Roedd hi eisiau cysylltu â Llyr, nid dim ond cerdded ochr yn ochr mewn tawelwch.

She wanted to connect with Llyr, not just walk side by side in silence.

  • “Oes, ddylet ti weld hyn o bryd, Llyr, yng nghanol yr hydref?

"Shouldn't you be seeing this now, Llyr, in the midst of autumn?"

  • ” cychwynnodd hi, gan edrych dros ei hysgwydd ar y golygfeydd.

she began, looking over her shoulder at the views.

  • Ond erbyn hyn, roedd Llyr wedi stopio i dynnu llun o grasgfiniad coed.

But by now, Llyr had stopped to take a picture of the collection of trees.

  • Gobeithiodd na fyddai’n anwybyddu’r alwad am hir.

She hoped he wouldn't ignore the call for long.

  • Roedd gan Eira gynllun, dull a fyddai, gobeithio, yn arwain at wyneb-i-wyneb ag ymladdgar Lÿr.

Eira had a plan, an approach that would, hopefully, lead to a face-to-face with the combative Llyr.

  • Wrth eu troed, dechreuodd y cawod o law ddiysgol a gwaeddodd Eira wrth deimlo mabigliad oer yn llifo’n daear eu harafau.

At their feet, a sudden shower began, and Eira shouted as she felt cold trickles running over their paths.

  • “Mae’n well i ni ffindio lloches arnyn ni’n barod,” a allai hi.

"We should find shelter, ready or not," she managed.

  • Llyr yn synnu nawr, ac awgrymodd: “Ydy hynny wir angenrheidiol?

Llyr was surprised now and suggested, "Is that really necessary?"

  • ”Penderfynodd Eira bod angen gwneud mwy nag awgrymu nawr.

Eira decided more than a suggestion was needed now.

  • “Llyr, mae angen i ni siarad,” dywedodd yn rheubad neges.

"Llyr, we need to talk," she said in a direct message.

  • “Mae’n amser wynebu ein gorffennol.

"It's time to face our past."

  • ” Roedd Llyr yn ngadael y ffôn ei law am yna, ei wyneb yn datgan synnwyr o agorededd.

Llyr let the phone drop from his hand then, his face expressing a sense of openness.

  • Mewn llonyddwch ystyriaeth, roedd y ddau yn edrych ar ei gilydd.

In the quiet of the moment, they looked at each other.

  • Gofynnodd Eira'n gynnil: “Pa mor hir byddwn ni’n gadael pethau heb gael eu dweud?

Eira gently asked, "How long will we leave things unsaid?"

  • ”Wrth iddyn nhw aros y cawod i ffrwyno, cychwynnodd Llyr siarad, ei lais yn drwm â gyfriniol: “Byddai'n gorau i ddod â phopeth i'r wylofain, yn hytrach nag hyd yn hir.

As they waited for the shower to relent, Llyr began to speak, his voice heavy with meaning: "It would be best to bring everything to the open, rather than let it linger."

  • ” Roedd geiriau Llyr yn arwydd o’r llun haul newydd yn eu perthynas.

Llyr's words were a sign of a new dawn in their relationship.

  • Pan wnaeth Llyr gamgymeriad ar drawiad llithrig, dalodd Eira gyflym, gan achub ei ddisgyniad.

When Llyr slipped on a slippery patch, Eira quickly caught him, preventing his fall.

  • “Diolch i ti am hynny,” meddodd Llyr, gan edrych arno’n ddiolchgar ac yn newydd.

"Thank you for that," Llyr said, looking at her gratefully and anew.

  • Roedd yn foment lle nad oedd angen mwy o eiriau - dealltynt.

It was a moment where no more words were needed—they understood.

  • Roedd rhwystriau yn dod i ben.

    Barriers were falling.

  • Wedi i'r cawod sefyll, dechreuant ychydig yn fwy ysgafn, eu sgwrsion bellach yn llawn dealltwriaeth newydd ac undod.

As the shower stopped, they began to walk a little lighter, their conversations now full of new understanding and unity.

  • Wrth droi’r gornel ar y llwybr, oedd y golygfeydd tuag at fynyddoedd yn croesawu â gwlithen haul - fel dechreuadau newydd yn cyfeirio atynt.

As they turned the corner on the path, the views toward the mountains welcomed them with a glimmer of sunlight—like new beginnings guiding them.

  • Pan ddychwelon hefyd eu car, roedd y weithred yn dangos newid uwch o ran eu perthynas.

When they returned to their car, the act reflected a significant change in their relationship.

  • Roeddent wedi ymrwymo i gadw eu sgwrsion yn agored ac yn onest yn y dyfodol.

They were committed to keeping their conversations open and honest in the future.

  • Roedd cwblhau’r daith gyda’u gilydd yn dal golau o obaith a chysylltiad newydd.

Completing the journey together held a light of hope and new connection.

  • Roedd yn deimlad o’r pwysau yn diflannu, a’u serch fel brodyr a chwiorydd yn cael ei adnewyddu.

It felt like the weight had lifted, and their love as siblings was renewed.
