O dan haul tua'r prynhawn yng Nghaerdydd, safai tri brawd a chwaer allan o'r Amgueddfa Genedlaethol.
Under the afternoon sun in Cardiff, three siblings stood outside the National Museum.
Gwen oedd y cyntaf i gynnig eu bod nhw'n ymweld yno.
Gwen was the first to suggest that they visit there.
Roedd hi'n cofio'r teithiau, fel petai'n teimlo dwylo eu mam hyd heddiw, yn dangos y lluniau gwych iddi.
She remembered the tours, as if she could still feel their mother's hands, showing her the wonderful pictures.
Emrys, yr hynaf, edrychodd ar yr adeilad gyda dimai o fwrlwm yn ei galon.
Emrys, the eldest, looked at the building with a slight thrill in his heart.
Roedd yn gysgod i'w fam, bob amser yn gwirio bod y traddodiadau'n parhau.
He was a shadow to their mother, always checking that traditions continued.
Roedd Hefin, y ieuengaf, yn edrych fel pe bai wedi'u cario gan y llanw amser, teimladau cymysg yn ei ben.
Hefin, the youngest, looked as if he had been carried by the tide of time, mixed feelings in his head.
Aethant i mewn, cerdded dan y nenfydau uchel lle mae'r cerrig marmor yn creu gorffwyll o gynnwrf â'u traed.
They went inside, walking under the high ceilings where the marble stones created a frenzy of movement beneath their feet.
Edrychodd Emrys ar eu llygaid taflu goleuni i'r lluniau lliwgar.
Emrys watched their eyes cast light on the colorful paintings.
"Cofiwch," dywedodd Emrys, "dyma yw'r hyn a wnaeth ein mam ei charu.
"Remember," Emrys said, "this is what our mother loved."
""Dwi eisiau arwain," awgrymodd Gwen.
"I want to lead," suggested Gwen.
"Dwi eisiau iddi deimlo yn fy nghalon fy mod i'n rhan ohoni.
"I want her to feel in my heart that I am a part of her."
""Mae'n iawn," atebodd Emrys yn syml, ac wrthon waith, cerddodd Gwen ymlaen, ei chalon yn llawn o gysylltiad â'r gorffennol.
"It's alright," Emrys replied simply, and as if on cue, Gwen walked ahead, her heart full of connection to the past.
Roedd Hefin yn seibio, chwilied heibio iddynt, wrth osgoi'r lleoedd lle karmel fu.
Hefin paused, drifting past them, avoiding the places where caramel once was.
Roedd ei droedgam ymlaen, yn ei gadw ar ffin gwirionedd synhwyrau a realiti poenus.
His step forward kept him on the edge of sensory truth and painful reality.
Roeddynt gyferbyn â'r paentiad gorau.
They faced the best painting.
Cerddodd Gwen ymlaen, yn cyffwrdd â llaw Hefin.
Gwen walked forward, touching Hefin's hand.
Dywedodd, "Dyma oedd y llun mae mam yn ei garu mwyaf.
She said, "This is the picture that mom loved the most."
"Amlosogodd eu hisel frwdfrydedd, ac Emrys a Gwen yn edrych ar Hefin am ddweud ei feddwl.
Their subdued enthusiasm mingled, and Emrys and Gwen looked to Hefin for his thoughts.
"Mae'n teimlo fel petai ei hysbryd gyda ni," cyfaddefodd Emrys, llais yn llawn hiraeth.
"It feels like her spirit is with us," Emrys admitted, his voice full of longing.
Syllodd Hefin hir.
Hefin gazed for a long time.
"Fi eisiau gwybod bod hi'n oke," meddai'n llawn o synnwyr brawdol a chais cau.
"I want to know she's okay," he said, full of brotherly sense and a quest for closure.
Gwen, gyda llygedd arlliw hirfelyn, atgoffodd ef nad oedd ef "angen cau popeth.
Gwen, with wistful eyes, reminded him he didn't "need to close everything."
" Bu ganddynt i gyd, ymithiant ac angerdd eu perthynasau.
They all embraced the complexity and passion of their relationships.
Ar y diwedd, daeth Gwyn, Emrys, a Hefin ati, yno yn yr amgueddfa, yn gyfundrefol o'u teulu.
In the end, Gwen, Emrys, and Hefin gathered together there in the museum, an embodiment of their family.
Digrifodd Emrys nad oedd angen iddynt ddilyn yn union i'r past.
Emrys remarked that they didn't need to follow exactly in the past's footsteps.
Roeddent hefyd yn gallu creu eu llwybr eu hunain o'u magwraeth.
They could also create their own path from their upbringing.
Wrth adael, gwenodd Gwen ar y brodyr wrth iddynt gamu allan dan yr haul haf, llaw yn llaw, teulu yn y byd sydd ohoni.
As they left, Gwen smiled at her brothers as they stepped out under the summer sun, hand in hand, a family in the world as it is.
Roedd eu mynedfa newydd o glywyd yn un a gwblhawyd hanes gyda phennod newydd.
Their new entrance was one that completed history with a new chapter.
Roeddynt wedi dod o hyd i heddwch trwy eu hymweliad â'r lleoedd wrth iddynt gyfarfod o'r diwedd gyda'r chapel o annefael priodol.
They had found peace through their visit to the places as they at last met with the aptly ordained chapel.
