In the sunny summer, the sun shone brightly on the town's sundial, and young people's voices echoed in the town as they descended into the calm waters of the Acwariwm Caerdydd.

Rywbryd, ar daith ysgol, roedd Eleri, Rhys a Carys yn dilyn eu athro drwy'r cymysg breswyl bywiog o fywydau morol.

On a school trip, Eleri, Rhys, and Carys were following their teacher through the lively residential mix of marine life.

Drwy'r gloywder tawel y coridorau golau-dim, roedd goleuadau'n dawnsio ar waliau'r tanciau gwydr.

Through the quiet clarity of the light-dim corridors, lights danced on the walls of the glass tanks.

Eleri, gyda'i llygaid mawr, llawn chwilfrydedd, crwydro'i llygaid dros bob tanc gan chwilio am greaduriaid tanddwr.

Eleri, with her large, inquisitive eyes, roamed over each tank searching for underwater creatures.

Plant eraill yn Gwennol Uwch yr Hen Goleg yn rhuthro o gwmpas, ond roedd Eleri'n arhosol mewn un man.

Other children from Gwennol Uwch yr Hen Goleg rushed around, but Eleri was stationary in one spot.

Roedd wedi darllen am seahors rare 'dros' glannau Cymru mewn llyfrau—seahors a chynnil sydd yn plwgio'i bryd.

She had read about rare seahorses 'over' the shores of Wales in books—a rare and delicate seahorse that captured her imagination.

Yn sydyn, fi Canfo Rhys, ei ffrind anturus a doniol ei golwg, yn camu ato.

Suddenly, Rhys, her adventurous and humorously looking friend, stepped up to her.

"Eleri,” ebe fo, “Dw i 'di clywed sôn bod 'na arddangosfa arbennig yn fan'na."

"Eleri," he said, "I've heard there's a special exhibit over there."

Rhys yn siarad o’r ardaloedd wedi eu cau ledled yr Aquariwm.

Rhys was speaking about the areas closed off throughout the Aquarium.

Gwelai Eleri babell gosach a phlwf batan sy’n tynnu’i sylw.

Eleri saw a bright tent and a fluttering flag that caught her attention.

Roedd arddangosfa fythynhoedd o seahors a wnaed newydd.

It was a newly made seahorse exhibit.

“Gwna i neb sylwi os bysa ni,” awgrymodd Rhys gyda chnawdaiad wrth ei lygad.

"No one will notice if we do," suggested Rhys with a twinkle in his eye.

Ni allai Eleri roi’r gorau iddynt, ond roedd Carys yn sylwi ar ei phryder.

Eleri couldn't resist them, but Carys noticed her concern.

“Beth ’ti’n meddwl?” gofynnodd Carys.

"What do you think?" asked Carys.

“Pam nad wyt ti’n gofyn i'n canllaw?”

"Why don't you ask our guide?"

Mae’r amser yn rhedeg allan, a phryder Eleri’n tynhau.

Time was running out, and Eleri's concern tightened.

Ond roedd ei ddiddordeb yn rhy gryf.

But her interest was too strong.

Roedd hi’n gwybod ei bod eisiau ein calon a’i weld ei hun.

She knew she wanted with all her heart to see it for herself.

Wedi llosg llawer o amser ei gofia, cytunodd i’r cynllun melltigedig Rhys.

After burning much of her memory's time, she agreed to Rhys's reckless plan.

Maen nhw'n sleifio rhwng y rhaffau.

They sneaked between the ropes.

Clywaent y dŵr yn lapio, a dyma nhw'n dod i’r tanc gyda’r afonydd tanddwr—yn cynnwys y seahors!

They heard the water lapping, and there they were at the tank with the underwater rivers—containing the seahorses!

Ond trwy’r drychein, mae llaw cynnes yn ymddangos ar ei hysgwyddau.

But through the commotion, a warm hand appeared on her shoulders.

"Disglair," llefarodd tywysydd cwrtais.

"Brilliant," spoke a courteous guide.

Er eu bod wedi'u dal, nid oedd ymateb y canllaw yn ddrwgdybir.

Even though they were caught, the guide's response was not suspicious.

Mabwysiadodd Eleri yn llonydd, a chyfodd ei hyder ar gorwynt.

Eleri was calm, and her confidence embraced the whirlwind.

Esboniodd hi'n daer am ei hoffter a'r cadernid 'r arenesis.

She explained earnestly about her fondness and the firmness of the dreams.

Gwnaeth hynny ddiffinio agwedd y canllaw, wrth iddo wrando'n astud.

This reshaped the guide's perspective, as he listened intently.

“Wel, profaist dy hoffter,” meddai Eleri.

"Well, you've demonstrated your passion," said Eleri.

Eisiau dysgu. Eisiau gwybod.

Wanting to learn. Wanting to know.

A chyda’i ochr, y tywysydd ymglanio’r plant yn y maes doddedig, gan arwain nhw drwy'r golygfa o seahors y merw.

And with their side by side, the guide took the children into the thawed area, leading them through the sight of the vibrant seahorses.

Pan ddaeth diwrnod i’w diwedd, ddiflannodd y goleuadau.

When the day came to an end, the lights disappeared.

Yn llygadau Eleri, roedd tanau newydd.

In Eleri's eyes, there were new fires.

Bydd rhyw dai’r môr wastad yn aros yn ei chalon, a bydd hi erioed yn ofni tryhydd ei llais.

Some sea homes would always remain in her heart, and she would never fear silencing her voice.

Ystyfnigodd Rhys i ddawn y dydd, a’r Cadlaysu yn nerth gwirionedd: yn min mynd droeon i oddef yr adndron, fynd heb atgofion mwyaf dros swrdd morol.

Rhys clung to the day's dawn, and Cadlaysu in the strength of truth: going round is to endure the enzyme, going without the greatest memories over a marine splash.

Dysgodd Eleri nad oedd llais bach yn dim o'i gymharu na gweledigaeth angladd; mae'n digwydd yn wynebu ofn cyn 'blygu'n agored, a heb un adeg yn ystod tyfiant ei dewrder.

Eleri learned that a small voice is not diminished compared to a funeral vision; it happens when facing fear before 'openly blooming,' and not once during the growth of her courage.
