  • Ymhell bell mewn tir moel a dyrys, cododd llwydni trwchus o'r llawr a lapio'r bryniau yn ei gwisg llaith.

Far away in a barren and dense land, a thick mist rose from the ground and wrapped the hills in its damp cloak.

  • Roedd y tirwedd yn edrych fel breuddwyd, yn wir, gyda'r blodau gwyllt yn rhannu gwelyu â'r mwsogl, a'r cerrig yr hen hen pryd bynnag yn codi fel gwirion dirgelion o'r niwl.

The landscape looked like a dream, indeed, with wildflowers sharing beds with moss, and ancient stones rising like mysterious truths from the fog.

  • Cerddai Gethin ac Eira gyda'i gilydd, eu bagiau ar eu cefnau a'u meddyliau yn llawn disgwyliadau gwahanol.

Gethin and Eira walked together, their bags on their backs and their minds filled with different expectations.

  • Roedd Gethin, yr hanesydd chwilfrydig, gyda llygaid yn tanio gyda brwdfrydedd.

Gethin, the curious historian, had eyes alight with enthusiasm.

  • Roedd o'n sicr o bŵer mystig y cylch cerrig.

He was certain of the mystic power of the stone circle.

  • "Dyma'r lle," meddai, yn llawn gobaith, "lle mae'r straeon hynafol yn dal i fyw.

"This is the place," he said, full of hope, "where the ancient stories still live."

  • "Yn agos ato cerddodd Eira, yn llawer mwy amharod i gredu'r straeon.

Walking closely beside him, Eira was much more reluctant to believe the tales.

  • Roedd hi bob amser yn ofalus, bob amser yn ystyried diogelwch yn gyntaf.

She was always cautious, always considering safety first.

  • "Mae'n rhaid i ni fod yn ofalus," rhybuddiodd hi, yn astudio'r map achai wneud canllaw mewn tywydd anrhagweladwy.

"We have to be careful," she warned, studying the map she had made as a guide in unpredictable weather.

  • Wrth iddynt gerdded yn ddyfnach i'r mwg, dechreuodd y llwybr gilio, ac yn fuan daethant ar draws rhwystrau na wyddent bodolaeth ohonynt cyn hynny.

As they walked deeper into the fog, the path began to narrow, and soon they encountered obstacles they hadn't known existed.

  • "Rydym wedi colli ein ffordd," dywedodd Eira gyda pheth bryder, ond roedd Gethin yn hyderus.

"We have lost our way," said Eira with some concern, but Gethin was confident.

  • "Gad i'r instinct ein harwain," dywedodd, yn anadlu'n ddwfn.

"Let our instincts guide us," he said, breathing deeply.

  • Wrth i ben y bryniau ddod yn arw ac yn coryn, roedd tensiwn rhwng eu hamcanion.

As the hilltops became rough and jagged, there was tension between their objectives.

  • Roedd Gethin yn gwthio ymlaen, ond roedd Eira am aros i ailen illarfer eu cyfeiriad.

Gethin pushed ahead, but Eira wanted to pause and realign their direction.

  • Yn y diwedd, wynebodd Eira ei phryderon, "Mae'n rhaid i ni wrando ariaeth ac arafu," rhybuddiodd, ond roedd Gethin yn gryf yn ei benderfyniad.

In the end, Eira faced her concerns, "We must listen to caution and slow down," she warned, but Gethin was strong in his decision.

  • O'r diwedd, wrth iddynt mercu ymlaen ochr yn ochr, roedd darflwch y niwl yn pwysleisio'r distawrwydd, hyd nes, yn sydyn, cymerodd y storm goronau'r awyr, gwyntoedd yn chwythu a glaw yn disgyn fel saethu cleddyfau môr.

Finally, as they moved forward side by side, the oppressiveness of the mist emphasized the silence, until, suddenly, the storm claimed the sky's crown, winds blowing and rain falling like sea swords.

  • Dim ond wedyn canfiodd Gethin a Eira'r cylch cerrig, yn sefyll fel cewri tawel yn nhwrwm y storm.

Only then did Gethin and Eira find the stone circle, standing like silent giants in the storm's gloom.

  • Roedd llonyddwch rhyfedd yno, wrth iddynt gymryd lloches rhwng y meini hynafol.

There was a strange stillness there, as they took shelter among the ancient stones.

  • Roedd yr ofn wedi'i aluchio gyda rhyfeddod.

    Fear was swallowed by wonder.

  • Wrth i'r storm glirio, a'r awyr yn fud ychydig erbyn, cawsant weld golygfa a chanfyddiad newydd.

As the storm cleared, and the sky was silent once more, they beheld a new view and perception.

  • Roedd y seren, yn awyr lân, yn syllu arnynt gyda bendith a sirioldeb nad oeddent wedi'i ragweld.

The stars, in the clear sky, gazed down at them with a blessing and a cheerfulness they hadn't anticipated.

  • Heddiw, dim ond gymaint â'r wythdwn, roedd rhai o'r chwedlau gwir yn dal i symud.

Today, just as much as centuries past, some of the true legends were still alive.

  • Roedd Gethin yn cygoru, yn llawn peth dychymyg ond hefyd diolchgar am arweiniad Eira.

Gethin was murmuring, filled with some imagination but also grateful for Eira's guidance.

  • "Wedi'r cyfan, rhaid i chi ddysgu gwerthfawrogi safbwynt rhywun arall," meddai Eira, yn dirion, "achos nid yw antur yn ddim ond un agwedd.

"After all, you need to learn to appreciate someone else's perspective," said Eira, kindly, "because adventure is nothing but one aspect."

  • " Roedd hi'n ystyriol, y dwys, ar Gethin, gyda llygaid yn rhyw led.

She looked thoughtfully, intently, at Gethin, with eyes somewhat wide.

  • Fe ddeuant yn ein ôl i'r pentref, i rannu'r stori sydd, yn sicr, yn werth ei adrodd—yn ddigon argyhoeddiadwy i agor meddyliau pawb i grefi ysbryd antigog.

They would return to the village to share the story that was, certainly, worth telling—enough to open everyone’s minds to the carving of ancient spirits.

  • Yng nglŷn â'u hymnau,' roedden nhw'n gwylio'r tirlun yn y distawrwydd ebycus, ac roeddent yn falch o'r cyhoeddwriaeth honno, a gafodd ei chreu o chwedlau ffawyddus y byd hynafol.

Regarding their melody, they watched the landscape in the resounding silence, and they were proud of this revelation, created from the world’s ancient and enchanting tales.
