  • Ar doriad y wawr, roedd yr Ardd Fotaneg Gymreig yn tanio gyda bywyd.

At the break of dawn, the Ardd Fotaneg Gymreig was alive with life.

  • Yr haul haf yn tywynnu'n felys, gan greu cysgodion hir dros laswellt ysblennydd.

The summer sun shone sweetly, casting long shadows over the splendid grass.

  • Roedd Gareth, botanegydd brwdfrydig, yn craffu ar y planhigion o amgylch, ei lygaid yn chwilio'r un arbennig – y blodyn prin a oedd am flodeuo am y tro cyntaf ers cannoedd o flynyddoedd.

Gareth, an enthusiastic botanist, was carefully observing the surrounding plants, his eyes searching for the special one – the rare flower that was about to bloom for the first time in hundreds of years.

  • Roedd pob math o wybodaeth gan Gareth am y planhigyn barddonol hwn.

Gareth had all sorts of information about this poetic plant.

  • Dros y blynyddoedd, roedd wedi astudio ei bapurau, ei hanes, a'i beryglon.

Over the years, he had studied its papers, its history, and its dangers.

  • Ond nawr, roedd y blodeuyn mewn perygl go iawn.

But now, the flower was in real danger.

  • Tegan, botanegydd cystadleuol o Brifysgol arall, yn meddu diddordeb rhyfedd yn y planhigyn hwnnw.

Tegan, a competitive botanist from another university, had an odd interest in that plant.

  • Eir, cynorthwyydd addawol i Gareth, roedd wrth ei ochr bob amser.

Eir, a promising assistant to Gareth, was always by his side.

  • Yn dawel, pregethodd wrth ei hun.

    Quietly, she preached to herself.

  • Roedd ganddi reswm personol dros aros – roedd hi'n gyfrinachgar mewn cariad â Gareth.

She had a personal reason for staying – she secretly loved Gareth.

  • "Ga i siarad â thi?

    "Can I talk to you?"

  • " chwilais Eir wrth iddo astudio coeden ffigys gerllaw.

Eir asked as he studied a nearby fig tree.

  • "Wrth gwrs, Eira," wnaeth Gareth droi ato, ei lygaid yn goleuo.

"Of course, Eira," Gareth turned to her, his eyes lighting up.

  • "Wyt ti'n teimlo'n bryderus am y noson hon?

"Are you feeling anxious about tonight?"

  • ""Ydw," atebodd hi yn dawel, "mae rhywbeth am Tegan sy'n gwneud i mi brosi'n ofidus.

"Yes," she answered quietly, "there's something about Tegan that makes me feel uneasy."

  • "Roedd y dydd yn cyflymu, a'r ardd yn llenwi â thwristiaid a botanegwyr yn aros am y digwyddiad mawreddog hwn.

The day sped by, and the garden filled with tourists and botanists waiting for this grand event.

  • Y dydd oedd yn disgleirio wrth i'r haul fachlud, mae Gareth yn gwybod ei fod yn amser parhaol.

As the day shone with the sunset, Gareth knew it was a crucial moment.

  • Roedd Eira wrth ei ochr, tra roedd Tegan yn gwylio o bell.

Eira was by his side, while Tegan watched from afar.

  • Roedd hi'n disgwyl ei chyfle i ddwyn.

She was waiting for her chance to steal.

  • Gare eu gweld yn llithro i mewn i'r llwyn.

Gare saw them slipping into the shrubbery.

  • Roedd arno angen gwneud penderfyniad.

He needed to make a decision.

  • "Eir, alla i ymddiried ynot ti i gadw gwyliadwriaeth dros y planhigyn?

"Eir, can I trust you to keep watch over the plant?

  • Rhaid i mi gael cymorth.

    I need to get help."

  • ""Ti'n gallu dibynnu arna i, Gareth," meddai hi yn gadarn.

"You can rely on me, Gareth," she said firmly.

  • Trowyd gloch yr hanner nos.

    The midnight bell chimed.

  • Roedd Eira ar ei thraed.

    Eira was on her feet.

  • Roedd Tegan wedi dod yn agos, ei bryd am gipio'r blodeuyn.

Tegan had come close, intent on seizing the flower.

  • Pan oedd Gareth yn dychwelyd gyda gwarchwyr yr ardd, fflachiodd Tegan draw.

When Gareth returned with the garden guards, Tegan fled.

  • Wrth i'r blodyn agor, roedd popeth yn llachar.

As the flower opened, everything was bright.

  • Yr arogl yn llenwi'r ardd ond Tegan wedi'i hynny.

The scent filled the garden, but Tegan was gone.

  • Ac roedd yna ddeallad.

    And there was an understanding.

  • Roedd Gareth yn gwybod bod rhywbeth mwy i fywyd na dim ond planhigion – roedd berthnasoedd.

Gareth realized there was more to life than just plants – there were relationships.

  • Roedd yn edrych ar Eira, y ferch a oedd wedi cadw ei ymddiriedaeth ac roedd ganddo barch o'r newydd iddi hi.

He looked at Eira, the girl who had kept his trust, and had newfound respect for her.

  • Roedd y blodeuyn wedi ymddangos, ac y wefr yr oedd wedi dod â nhw at ei gilydd, ey ddwfn o dan y disgwyliad am ei flodau.

The flower had appeared, and the thrill it brought had drawn them together, deeply connected under the anticipation of its bloom.

  • Pan ddaeth y dydd i ben, roedd popeth yn saff.

When the day ended, everything was safe.

  • Roedd wedi dod trwy'r noson heb golli dim ond wedi ennill ffrind newydd – rhywun a fyddai gyda nhw bob cam o'r ffordd.

He had come through the night losing nothing but gaining a new friend – someone who would be with them every step of the way.

  • Roedd y cyfeillgarwch rhwng Gareth ac Eira yn blodeuo fel y blodyn prin ei hun, bob amser yn cynrychioli ei broses flodeuo perffaith.

The friendship between Gareth and Eira bloomed like the rare flower itself, always representing its perfect blossoming process.
