Above the store in Marchnad Caerdydd, Eleri's tears were evident in the light.

Roedd twrw'r bobl yn y farchnad yn glywadwy fel llais y môr, ond roedd y ddadl rhwng hi a'i brawd, Dafydd, yn ei dal hi.

The noise of the people in the market was audible like the voice of the sea, but the argument between her and her brother, Dafydd, held her there.

Roedd y farchnad yn llawn synhwyrau—persawr bara ffres a siocled a'r synnwyr twym galw.

The market was full of sensory experiences—the scent of fresh bread and chocolate and the warm sense of calling.

"Eleri, rhaid i ni feddwl am y dyfodol," meddai Dafydd gan edrych arni gydag edrychiad mawr.

"Eleri, we have to think about the future," said Dafydd, looking at her with a significant glance.

"Mae'r cynnig yma yn gyfle na ddaw yn ôl."

"This offer is an opportunity that won't come back."

Ond yn ei chalon, ni allai Eleri ddychmygu bywyd heb y stôr.

But in her heart, Eleri couldn't imagine life without the store.

"Mae'r stôr wedi bod yn ein teulu ers cenedlaethau. Rhaid i ni ei chadw," atebodd Eleri â llais cryf.

"The store has been in our family for generations. We have to keep it," Eleri replied with a strong voice.

"Rwy'n deall," meddai Dafydd yn dawel,

"I understand," Dafydd said quietly,

"ond mae angen i ni dyfu, moderni a symud ymlaen.

"but we need to grow, modernize, and move forward.

Mae mwy i fywyd na'r hyn sydd gennym ni yma."

There's more to life than what we have here."

Roedd yr haf yn cyffroi'r ddau, yn llawn gydag ysbryd yr hwyaden mawr.

The summer excited the two, full with the spirit of the great duck.

Ond roedd y frwydr rhwng traddodiad a chynnydd fel cledd a darian yn aros.

But the struggle between tradition and progress remained like a sword and shield.

Wrth iddi weithio, roedd Eleri wedi cael syniad.

As she worked, Eleri had an idea.

"Beth os galla'i wneud ei weithio drwy foderneiddio heb werthu?" meddai mewn awgrym i'w brawd.

"What if I can make it work by modernizing without selling?" she suggested to her brother.

"Gad i mi roi cynllun ar waith i adfywio'r stôr."

"Let me put a plan in place to rejuvenate the store."

Roedd Dafydd yn ansicr, ond roedd yn benderfynol o ddefnyddio dealltwriaeth busnes i helpu.

Dafydd was uncertain, but he was determined to use his business understanding to help.

"Iawn," atebodd, "gawn ni weld beth allwch chi ei wneud mewn blwyddyn."

"Alright," he answered, "let's see what you can do in a year."

Yn y bryder a thensiwn o Ynyd Sadwrn prysur, rhoddodd Eleri ei chynllun ar brawf.

In the anxiety and tension of a busy Ynyd Sadwrn, Eleri put her plan to the test.

Roedd y synnwyr cyffrous o'r ymwelwyr yn tyfu, a'r stôr yn prysuro.

The exciting sense of the visitors grew, and the store became busier.

Roedd y cynllun adfywio yn llwyddiannus, yn cynnig cacenau newydd a dweud traddodiadau hynafol wrth bob cwsmer newydd.

The rejuvenation plan was successful, offering new cakes and telling ancient traditions to every new customer.

Yn y cyfamser, roedd Clem yn derbyn cynnig olaf gan brynwr posib.

Meanwhile, Clem was receiving a final offer from a potential buyer.

Roedd Dafydd yn wynebu dewis anodd—sell lan gyda dyfodol ariannol sicr neu gadw’r stôr o dan ddwylo’r teulu rywfaint yn hirach.

Dafydd faced a difficult choice—sell up with a secure financial future or keep the store in the family's hands a little longer.

Ar ôl edrych ar lawer o wên y cwsmeriaid ac ysbryd positif yn y stôr, roedd Dafydd yn gwybod ei ateb.

After seeing many customer smiles and the positive spirit in the store, Dafydd knew his answer.

"Gad i ni gadw’r stôr, Eleri. Am flwyddyn. Byddaf yn eich helpu gyda’ch syniadau," dywedodd gyda twymder newydd yn ei galon.

"Let's keep the store, Eleri. For a year. I will help you with your ideas," he said with new warmth in his heart.

Roedd Eleri yn falch.

Eleri was pleased.

Roeddent wedi cytuno: y flwyddyn nesaf, roedd y stôr i aros yn nwylo'r teulu, i weld os bydd y cynllun adfywio yn gweithio'n wir.

They had agreed: the following year, the store would remain in the family's hands, to see if the rejuvenation plan truly worked.

Yn y prosiect newydd, dysgodd Eleri hefyd werth arloesi, tra gwresogodd Dafydd ei werthfawrogiad o draddodiad.

In the new project, Eleri also learned the value of innovation, while Dafydd warmed to his appreciation of tradition.

Ar ddiwedd y dydd, cadeiriodd y ddau ymgydweithrediad; roedd y stôr o hyd yn fyw yng nghalon Caerdydd, yn baru'n llwyddiannus ein traddodiadau â newidiadau newydd.

At the end of the day, the two chaired a collaboration; the store was still alive in the heart of Caerdydd, successfully pairing our traditions with new changes.
