The land around the house is full of golden spring flowers and birds singing happily.

Mae'n Dydd Gŵyl Dewi, a Gareth wedi bod yn cynllunio cinio gwanwyn arbennig i'r teulu.

It's Dydd Gŵyl Dewi, and Gareth has been planning a special spring dinner for the family.

Garfan yw'r cynllunydd manwl yn y teulu.

Gareth is the meticulous planner in the family.

Alys, ei wraig, a Dylan, eu mab ifanc, yn helpu.

Alys, his wife, and Dylan, their young son, help.

Ond yn aml, mae Alys a Dylan yn colli'r amynedd gyda manwl yn cynlluniai Gareth.

But often, Alys and Dylan lose patience with Gareth's detailed plans.

"Dwedodd fy nhaid amdano!

"My grandfather told me about it!"

" meddai Gareth yn bendant.

says Gareth firmly.

"Rhaid i bopeth fod yn berffaith.

"Everything must be perfect.

Mae'n gyfle i ni ddangos ein cartref.

It's an opportunity for us to show our home."

"Hyd yn oed o dan gymylau trwm y gwanwyn, mae Gareth yn penderfynu gosod pabell fawr yn yr ardd.

Even under the heavy spring clouds, Gareth decides to set up a large tent in the garden.

Yn anffodus, mae'r tywydd yn cychwyn i fod yn ddigalon.

Unfortunately, the weather begins to turn gloomy.

Mae'r gwynt yn chwythu'n gryf a'r glaw yn syrthio o lawr du.

The wind blows strongly, and rain falls from the dark sky.

Mae Gareth yn poeni.

Gareth is worried.

Ond, mae'n dal yn benderfynol.

But, he remains determined.

Mae Alys yn coginio cawl cennin a bara caws yn y gegin.

Alys is cooking leek soup and cheese bread in the kitchen.

Mae Dylan yn gyffrous am weld y teulu yn dod ynghyd.

Dylan is excited to see the family come together.

Ond, pan maen nhw'n edrych i'r ardd, mae'r gwynt wedi chwythu pabell Gareth i lawr.

But, when they look out into the garden, the wind has blown Gareth's tent down.

Mae'r pob golwg o lwyddiant yn diflannu yn yr eiliad.

The prospect of success disappears in an instant.

Mae Gareth yn rhuthro i achub y sefyllfa.

Gareth rushes to salvage the situation.

Mae'r cawl yn bygwth gor-losgi.

The soup threatens to burn.

Mae'r storm ar ddwy ganfas, ond sydd eithaf yn y tŷ.

The storm is on two canvases but is quite in the house.

Yn y foment honno, mae Gareth yn deffro o'i ffordd ddichonol gweithredu.

In that moment, Gareth awakens from his feasible way of acting.

Mae'n synhwyro nad yw popeth i fod dan ei reolaeth.

He senses that not everything needs to be under his control.

"Beth am adael iddyn nhw ddod i mewn?

"How about letting them come inside?"

" gofynnodd Alys, gan gynnig llaw gymorth.

asks Alys, offering a helping hand.

Maen nhw'n symud yr holl seddi a bwrdd i'r ystafell fyw.

They move all the chairs and table into the living room.

Mae'r teulu yn cyrraedd, fodd bynnag, dim un ohonynt yn poeni am gyflwr y pabell ganolog.

The family arrives, however, none of them are concerned about the condition of the central tent.

Maen nhw'n mwynhau y cawl cennin a'r cwmni.

They enjoy the leek soup and the company.

Mae Gareth yn ymlacio yn nhîm teulu.

Gareth relaxes in the family's team.

Mae'n gweld y werth gwirioneddol o fod gyda'i bobl agos.

He sees the true value of being with his close people.

Mae biwrocratiaeth a phryder wedi rhoi ffordd i chwerthin a chwmni da.

Bureaucracy and worry have given way to laughter and good company.

Y teimlad cynnes yn y stafell sy'n sicrhau Gareth bod popeth yn iawn.

The warm feeling in the room assures Gareth that everything is alright.

O gyfnos i gyrraedd, mae'r sgwrs yn troi allan yn rycl.

As dusk arrives, the conversation turns lively.

Mae’n Dydd Gŵyl Dewi arbennig, nid oherwydd bod popeth yn “berffaith” ond oherwydd bod popeth yn real.

It's a special Dydd Gŵyl Dewi, not because everything is "perfect," but because everything is real.

Mae Gareth wedi dysgu'r wers bwysig o ryddhau popeth i allu cynnal cysylltiadau go iawn gydag eraill.

Gareth has learned the important lesson of letting go to foster real connections with others.

Ac felly, mae cychwyn y gwanwyn yn Gymru yn bryd i ddathlu’r perffeithrwydd annisgwyl o fod gyda theulu, yn hytrach na chwilio am berffeithrwydd cynlluniedig.

And so, the onset of spring in Cymru is a time to celebrate the unexpected perfection of being with family, rather than seeking planned perfection.

Mae Gareth wedi newid.

He is happy.
