"This is the place," says Aneira, giving the class a quiet smile.

  • "Mae pleidleisio yn bwysig iawn.

    "Voting is very important.

  • Mae'n ein cyfle ni i ddweud ein barn," ychwanega hi, gan edrych ar Gareth, sydd yn edrych hyd y tu mewn gyda golwg awchus.

It's our chance to voice our opinion," she adds, looking at Gareth, who is gazing inside with an eager expression.

  • "Beth yw'r holl brysurdeb?

    "What's all the commotion?"

  • " gofynnodd Gareth mewn llais tawel wrth iddynt symud i mewn i’r adeilad.

  • Clywant sŵn mae pobl yn siarad, sŵn papur yn rustlian, a'r seiniau coffi yn arllwys.

They hear the sound of people talking, the rustling sound of paper, and the noises of coffee being poured.

  • "Dyma'r tro cyntaf i lawer o'r bobl yma bleidleisio," eglurha Aneira.

"This is the first time many of these people have voted," explains Aneira.

As they move closer to the reception desk, Gareth notices Garys, his mischievous friend, slyly looking towards the voting booths.

  • "Hei, Gareth," byddai Garys yn gwhisgwr o'r ochr arall.

"Hey, Gareth," Garys would whisper from the other side.

  • "Beth am ni fynd yno?

    "How about we go there?

  • Gawn ni weld sut mae'n gweithio!

We can see how it works!"

  • "Gwrthododd Gareth y syniad gyda sipyn bach o chwerthin sy'n cuddio'i bryder.

Gareth rejected the idea with a small laugh that hides his concern.

  • "Na, Garys.

    "No, Garys.

  • Dw i eisiau dysgu fwy hefo gofyn cwestiynau.

I want to learn more by asking questions.

  • Mae hynny'n bwysicach," meddai Gareth yn sydyn.

That’s more important," Gareth said suddenly.

  • Mae cerdded drwy'r rhesi, Gareth a phlant eraill yn casglu gwybodaeth wrth i Aneira egluro rôl y bleidlais.

Walking through the rows, Gareth and the other children gather information as Aneira explains the role of the vote.

  • Ond, mae Garys, heb ei cadoedi, yn symud tua'r bwt.

But, Garys, undeterred, moves towards the booth.

  • "Peidiwch, Garys," mae Gareth yn bloeddio, yn cau'r ymyl rhwng ef a'i gyfaill.

"Don't, Garys," Gareth shouts, closing the gap between him and his friend.

  • "Mae hyn yn bwysig!

    "This is important!

  • Ni allwn ddigio’r rheolau.

    We can't disregard the rules."

Garys, unruffled, looks at him, curious and surprised on his face.

  • "Iawn, iawn, Gareth.

    "Alright, alright, Gareth.

  • Ti'n iawn," meddai, yn yr olaf yn tynnu'n ôl o'i syniadau twyllodrus.

You're right," he says, finally backing away from his mischievous ideas.

  • Ar ddiwedd y daith, mae Aneira yn cymryd Gareth i'r neilltu.

At the end of the journey, Aneira takes Gareth aside.

  • "Rydw i'n gweld dywaith di, Gareth," meddai, gan hyfforddi ei llais fel melôdy.

"I see your work, Gareth," she says, tuning her voice like a melody.

  • "Dyma bleidlais mock i ti ymarfer.

"Here is a mock vote for you to practice."

  • "Mae ei galon yn llenwi â balchder.

    His heart fills with pride.

  • Garys, yn cael ei ysbrydoli gan Gareth, yn bwrw ymlaen i’w helpu i'w lenwi allan.

Garys, inspired by Gareth, moves forward to help him fill it out.

  • Gyda'i gilydd, maen nhw'n profi beth y gall dyfodol democratiaeth ei olygu.

Together, they experience what the future of democracy can mean.

  • Mae Gareth yn cerdded allan o'r bleidlais gyda phenderfyniad ar ei wyneb a gwên ar ei enaid.

Gareth walks out of the vote with determination on his face and a smile on his soul.

  • Trwy fonitro a gofal, mae wedi dysgu rhywbeth pwysig: bod yn hy mature ac yn barchus, mae hynny'n dod â pharch yn ei dro.

Through observation and care, he has learned something important: being mature and respectful earns respect in return.

  • Felly, daw'r daith i ben, gyda Gareth, Garys, ac Aneira yn gadael y adeilad mewn tân o ddysgu a chydweithrediad.

So, the journey ends, with Gareth, Garys, and Aneira leaving the building in a blaze of learning and cooperation.
