  • Ar ben bore oer ym mis Chwefror, cynhaliwyd awyrgylch cynnes a llesol y tu mewn i rost-warws caffi o dan gopaon uchel Eryri.

On a cold February morning, a warm and joyful atmosphere was maintained inside a café-roastery under the towering peaks of Eryri.

  • Roedd y persawr cyfoethog o goffi a rhosti'n llenwi'r aer, tra bod pobl yn siarad wrth geisio noddfa o'r oerfel.

The rich aroma of coffee and roast filled the air, while people chatted, seeking refuge from the cold.

  • Roedd Aeron yn eistedd wrth gornel ffenestr, lluniadu lluniau ar ddarn papur.

Aeron sat by a window corner, drawing pictures on a piece of paper.

  • Er ei fod yn dawel ei natur, roedd ei feddwl yn llawn o bryderon hen.

Despite his quiet nature, his mind was full of old worries.

  • Roedd yn poeni nad oedd wedi cadw cysylltiad â'i ffrindiau agosaf dros y blynyddoedd.

He was concerned that he had lost touch with his closest friends over the years.

  • Ffrind fel Gwyneth, deithwraig oedd newydd ddychwelyd i'r dref ar y daith ddiweddaraf o'i hanturiaethau.

A friend like Gwyneth, a traveler who had just returned to town from her latest adventure.

  • Yn y cegin yng nghefn y siop, roedd Rhys, coffi-rostiwr lleol, yn mwynhau'r sefydlogrwydd o fywyd mewn tref fechan.

In the kitchen at the back of the shop, Rhys, a local coffee roaster, enjoyed the stability of life in a small town.

  • Roedd iddo ewyllys tawel i ailgynnau hen gyfeillgarwch, yn enwedig gyda Aeron, ond ni wyddai sut i ddechrau'r sgwrs.

He had a quiet desire to rekindle old friendships, especially with Aeron, but didn't know how to start the conversation.

  • Torriodd Gwyneth i mewn i'r caffi gyda chwerthin uchel a llais hapus.

Gwyneth burst into the café with loud laughter and a happy voice.

  • "Helo bawb! Mae hi'n hyfryd bod adre eto, yn enwedig ar Dydd Gŵyl Dewi!"

"Hello everyone! It's lovely to be home again, especially on Dydd Gŵyl Dewi!"

  • Gwelodd Aeron yng nghornel ei llygad.

Aeron caught sight of her out of the corner of his eye.

  • She oedd yn edrych mor llawn egni a dyma'i fwyd a fo gan Aeron y teimlad o arillgyrraedd â iesg.

She looked so full of energy, and this was the feeling Aeron needed to reach out with ease.

  • Roedd Aeron yn teimlo siom yn llenwi ei feddwl wrth iddo syllu ar ei lluniau.

Aeron felt disappointment fill his mind as he stared at his drawings.

  • A ddylai gau'r llyfr a gadael, fel arfer?

Should he close the book and leave, as usual?

  • Neu ddylai fentro allan o'r cysgodion?

Or should he venture out of the shadows?

  • Datrygodd Aeron i sefyll.

    He resolved to stand.

  • Cymerodd anadl ddofn, a cherdded tuag at Gwyneth a Rhys.

Taking a deep breath, he walked toward Gwyneth and Rhys.

  • "Shwmae, Gwyneth," meddai Aeron yn dawel, ond yn dawel sydd yn codi, "Amser maith heb weld."

"Shwmae, Gwyneth," said Aeron softly, but with a voice that was rising, "It's been a long time."

  • Syddodd Gwyneth ei gilydd yn ei sylw, gyda gwên mawr.

Gwyneth focused on him with a big smile.

  • "Aeron! Hei, dangos ni dy hunan! Pam ro'ch ti wedi cuddio o hyd?"

"Aeron! Hey, show yourself! Why have you been hiding?"

  • Ymunodd Rhys yn y sgwrs, gyda barod â gwên amlwg ar ei wyneb.

Rhys joined in the conversation, readily wearing a broad smile.

  • "Helo chwaith, Aeron! Mae'n gret dy weld di rydym ni wedi rhedeg mewn cylchoedd," chwarddodd Rhys 'dwi'n gobeithio ein bod ni'n ailgynnau rhywbeth penodol heddiw."

"Hello as well, Aeron! It's great to see you; we've been running in circles," Rhys laughed, "I hope we're rekindling something special today."

  • Cynnarodd Aeron ddewrder a chychwynnodd sgwrs gydag iddi budr a honnol.

Aeron gathered his courage and started a conversation with a bold and honest tone.

  • "Nadrodd arnad fi," dechreuodd Aeron, yn teimlo llais Rhys a Gwyneth gan gynnwys ieirddill dirwy, "Mae'n rhaid i mi eich colli chi dros amser, ond hoffwn wneud fel petai ddim wedi digwydd."

"Forgive me," Aeron began, hearing the sincere undertones in Rhys and Gwyneth's voices, "I must have lost you over time, but I want it to be as if nothing happened."

  • Gwenodd Gwyneth yn sensitif.

    Gwyneth smiled sensitively.

  • "A ni; nid yw byth rhy hwyr i ailafael, Aeron."

"And us; it's never too late to reconnect, Aeron."

  • Treuliodd y tri oriau yn sôn am amseroedd da o'r gorffennol ac yn pontio'r bylchau a oedd wedi dod.

The three spent hours talking about good times from the past and bridging the gaps that had formed.

  • Eglurodd Aeron pa mor bwysig oedd cysylltiadau i arno erbyn hyn, ac addo oedd pawb i gyfarfod yn aml.

Aeron explained how important connections were to him now, and everyone promised to meet often.

  • Ceisiodd i gyd wneud cynlluniau ar gyfer y noswaith gofiadwy nesaf.

They all tried to make plans for the next memorable evening.

  • Y dysglirga i Aeron y gwerth o gymryd cam cyntaf gam cynnal perthynas.

Aeron learned the value of taking the first step in maintaining relationships.

  • Roedd draenioni ei ben 'nôt fafill, ond mae'n disgwah yn talu ar drafferthion am dermau treth.

The hesitation in his head faded, but it proved to be worth the effort in the end.

  • Roedd y tri yn cytuno bod dyfodol newydd eu cyfeillgarwch yn edrych yn llachar, a rhoddodd St.David's Day dderbyniad perffaith.

The three agreed that the future of their friendship looked bright, and St. David's Day provided a perfect reception.
