Byl zkušeným turistou.

Miloval pocit svobody v přírodě.

He loved the feeling of freedom in nature.

Vedle něj stála Jana, jeho partnerka.

„Karele, myslíš, že nezačne pršet?“ zeptala se Jana a pohlédla na oblohu.

„Trochu vody nám neublíží.

Vyrazili po stezce, mezi stromy a skalami, po úzké cestičce.

They set off on the path, between the trees and rocks, along a narrow trail.

Stoupala do kopce a vedla k známé vyhlídce.

It climbed up and led to a well-known viewpoint.

Jak postupovali, obloha ztmavla.

As they progressed, the sky darkened.

Vítr začal foukat silněji.

The wind began to blow more strongly.

Náhlé zahřmění přerušilo klid lesa.

A sudden rumble interrupted the peace of the forest.

Karel stále kráčel vpřed, ale Jana začínala být nervózní.

Karel kept walking forward, but Jana was starting to feel nervous.

„Karele, můžeme se vrátit?

"Karel, can we go back?

Ta cesta vypadá nebezpečně,“ navrhla.

This path looks dangerous," she suggested.

„Jsme skoro tam.

"We're almost there.

Musíš vidět ten výhled,“ řekl Karel, i když vítr zesílil.

You have to see the view," said Karel, even though the wind had intensified.

Ale bouře přicházela rychle.

Přišla náhlá přeháňka a stezka se změnila v kluzkou past.

Déšť padal hustě.

Nikde nebylo vidět.

Visibility was poor.

Avšak poté zahlédli malou jeskyni skrytou mezi skalami.

However, then they spotted a small cave hidden among the rocks.

Byla to jejich jediná naděje na úkryt.

It was their only hope for shelter.

Uvnitř jeskyně seděli blízko sebe a naslouchali bouři venku.

Inside the cave, they sat close together and listened to the storm outside.

Karel si povzdechl.

Karel sighed.

„To jsem nechtěl.

"That's not what I wanted.

Promiň.“

I'm sorry."

Jana se usmála a chytila ho za ruku.

Jana smiled and took his hand.

„Jsem ráda, že jsme v bezpečí.

"I'm glad we're safe.

To je nejdůležitější.“

That's the most important thing."

Karel se zamyslel.

Karel thought for a moment.

Měl pro ni připravené velké překvapení na skále, kterou nikdy nedosáhli.

He had a big surprise planned for her on the cliff they never reached.

Ale uvnitř jeskyně jim bylo útulně.

„Jano,“ řekl tiše, vytáhl krabičku z kapsy, „i tady je to speciální místo.

"Jana," he said quietly, pulling a box from his pocket, "even here is a special place.

Jana se zarazila, pak se široce usmála.

Jana paused, then smiled broadly.

„Ano, sto procent ano!“

"Yes, one hundred percent yes!"

Bouře venku utichla a vzduch byl svěží.

The storm outside subsided, and the air was fresh.

Čas byl pro ně najednou méně důležitý.

Cítili se spolu v bezpečí a šťastní.
