"Back there," he pointed in the direction where he believed an ancient castle ruin to be, "they say there used to stand a mysterious castle!"

Lída, opatrná a rozumná, přesto odhodlaná souhlasit s jeho plánem, si přitáhla batoh blíž k tělu.

Lída, cautious and sensible, yet determined to agree with his plan, pulled her backpack closer to her body.

"Ale les je hustý a cestou můžeme potkat divokou zvěř," varovala.

"But the forest is dense and we might encounter wild animals on the way," she warned.

"Musíme být opatrní."

"We need to be careful."

Jiří se však nenechal odradit.

Jiří was not deterred.

"Pojď, Lído.

"Come on, Lído.

Je to blízko.

It's close.

A kdo ví, třeba objevíme něco úžasného!"

And who knows, maybe we'll discover something amazing!"

Ujistil ji, že znají cestu dobře, a tak se vydali na průzkum.

He assured her that they knew the way well, and so they set out on an exploration.

Cesta rychle zmizela pod plevely a kapradinami.

The path quickly disappeared under weeds and ferns.

Slunce osvětlovalo les jen sporadicky, vrhalo stíny, které tančily a vábily je dál do nitra lesa.

"Musíme si dávat pozor," připomínala Lída jemně.

Jak šli hlouběji, les zesílil.

Cesty se staly zrádnějšími a ticho přerušovaly zvuky neznámých tvorů.

The paths became more treacherous, and the silence was broken by the sounds of unknown creatures.

Náhle se před nimi objevila vysoká stěna starého padlého stromu, jejich cesta byla zablokována.

Suddenly, a high wall of an old fallen tree appeared before them, blocking their way.
