Okolo domu byla zahrada plná květin, které na jaře začínaly kvést.

Všude ve vzduchu voněla vůně jara.

The scent of spring was in the air everywhere.

Ale Marek to nevnímal.

But Marek didn't notice it.

Stále žil v zimě.

He was still living in winter.

Jednoho dne se Marek probudil a rozhodl se, že půjde ven odklízet sníh.

One day, Marek woke up and decided he would go outside to clear the snow.

Vzal si teplou bundu, nasadil čepici a rukavice.

He put on a warm jacket, a hat, and gloves.

Sešel dolů do vestibulu, kde se setkal s Janou.

He went down to the vestibule, where he met Jana.

„Marek, co děláš?

"Marek, what are you doing?"

“ zeptala se Jana zmateně.

Jana asked confusedly.

„Jdu odklízet sníh, budou k nám přece přijíždět hosté na zimní prázdniny,“ odpověděl Marek.

"I'm going to clear the snow since guests are coming to us for the winter holidays," Marek replied.

Jana se usmála a kývla.

Jana smiled and nodded.

Rozhodla se zatím neříkat nic.

She decided not to say anything for now.

Místo toho šla do kuchyně a začala chystat věci na velikonoční piknik.

Instead, she went to the kitchen and started preparing things for the Easter picnic.

Na stole se objevily kraslice, pomlázka a velikonoční beránek.

On the table appeared decorated eggs, a traditional pomlázka (Easter rod), and an Easter lamb cake.

Marek mezitím prošel zahradu a hledal sníh.

Meanwhile, Marek walked through the garden looking for snow.

Místo toho viděl sedět u dveří starou zapomenutou sáňku, kterou tam nechali od minulé zimy.

Instead, he saw an old forgotten sled sitting by the door, which they had left there since last winter.

Ale sníh nikde.

But no snow anywhere.

Zatímco Marek bez úspěchu hledal sníh, Jana připevnila na dveře velikonoční věnec.

While Marek searched unsuccessfully for snow, Jana attached an Easter wreath to the door.

Marek ji zahlédl z okna a zastavil se.

Marek spotted her from the window and stopped.

Jak se blížil k domu, všiml si barevných jarních květin po celé zahradě.

As he approached the house, he noticed colorful spring flowers all over the garden.

„Jano, proč je všude tolik květin?

"Jana, why are there so many flowers everywhere?"

“ zeptal se Marek.

Marek asked.

„Protože je jaro, Marek.

"Because it's spring, Marek.

Připravujeme se na Velikonoce, ne na zimní prázdniny,“ řekla Jana jemně a ukázala na stolek plný velikonočních ozdob.

We're preparing for Easter, not for the winter holidays," Jana said gently and pointed to a table full of Easter decorations.

Marek se zarazil.

Marek was taken aback.

Chvíli stál, pak se začal smát.

He stood for a moment, then began to laugh.

„Ach, jak jsem mohl být tak zapomnětlivý!

"Oh, how could I have been so forgetful?"

“ povzdechl si.

he sighed.

Sundal čepici a rukavice a připojil se k Janě při výzdobě.

He took off his hat and gloves and joined Jana in decorating.

Od toho momentu se Marek naučil vnímat přítomnost a užívat si krásu každé sezóny.

From that moment on, Marek learned to live in the present and enjoy the beauty of each season.

Už nikdy nezapomněl, že s jarem přicházejí Velikonoce, plné barev a radosti.

He never forgot again that with spring comes Easter, full of colors and joy.

Společně s Janou se těšili na nové období, které jim přineslo nové zážitky a krásné společné chvíle.

Together with Jana, they looked forward to the new season, which brought them new experiences and beautiful shared moments.
