Jana stála za svým stánkem, ruce zbarvené k nepoznání od akrylových barev.

Jana stood behind her stall, her hands stained beyond recognition from acrylic paints.

Byla to její vášeň - vytvářet ručně dělané ozdoby a šperky.

It was her passion - creating handmade decorations and jewelry.

Luděk, její přítel, stál vedle ní, podpíral ji, i když jeho mysl byla plná obav o jejich budoucnost.

Luděk, her boyfriend, stood beside her, supporting her, even though his mind was full of worries about their future.

Moc dobře věděl, jak důležité pro ni bylo vydělat dost peněz na pronájem ateliéru na další měsíce.

He knew very well how important it was for her to earn enough money for the studio rent for the coming months.

"Odpustíš mi, že jsem zase pozdě?"

"Will you forgive me for being late again?"

řekl Luděk s úsměvem.

Luděk said with a smile.

Jana se jen usmála.

Jana just smiled back.

"Jsi tu a to je důležité."

"You're here, and that's what matters."

Na druhé straně náměstí se Barbora, konkurentka Jany, těšila z nejlepšího místa.

On the other side of the square, Barbora, Jana's competitor, was enjoying the best spot.

Její stánek přitahoval davy turistů.

Her stall attracted crowds of tourists.

Barbora se usmívala a její tržby rostly.

Barbora smiled as her sales grew.

"Snad bychom s ní mohli prohodit místo," zamumlal Luděk, když si všiml netrpělivého pohledu Jany.

"Maybe we could switch places with her," Luděk mumbled when he noticed Jana's impatient look.

"Ne," zavrtěla hlavou Jana.

"No," Jana shook her head.

"Musím to zvládnout jinak."

"I have to manage this differently."

Velikonoční sobota přinesla dav návštěvníků a autobus turistů zakotvil právě před Barbořiným stánkem.

Easter Saturday brought a crowd of visitors, and a tourist bus parked right in front of Barbora's stall.

Jana se začala cítit zoufale, ale nevzdala se.

Jana began to feel desperate, but she did not give up.

Pak ji cosi zasáhlo.

Then something struck her.

Nápad.

An idea.

Vzala pruhy pestrobarevného hedvábí a vytvořila kolem svého stánku živoucí oponu.

She took strips of colorful silk and created a living curtain around her stall.

Všude rozvěsila papírové květy a jasně žluté kousky připomínající slunce.

She hung paper flowers everywhere and bright yellow pieces resembling the sun.

Lidé se začali zastavovat a obdivovat její práci.

People began to stop and admire her work.

Zvuk řehtaček, které přidala jako hudební pozadí, přilákal vetší pozornost.

The sound of rattles, which she added as a musical backdrop, attracted more attention.

"Koukněte na to!"

"Look at that!"

vykřikla malá dívka, ukazující na zajímavé kruhové ornamenty.

exclaimed a little girl, pointing at the interesting circular ornaments.

Brzy se kolem Jany začal tvořit dav.

Soon a crowd began to form around Jana.

Šperky a ozdoby se rychle prodávaly.

Jewelry and decorations sold quickly.

Večer, když trhy utichly, Luděk objal Janu.

In the evening, when the markets quieted down, Luděk hugged Jana.

"Bylas úžasná," řekl s úlevou.

"You were amazing," he said with relief.

"Dokázala jsi to."

"You did it."

"Děkuju, ale bez tebe bych to nezvládla," řekla Jana.

"Thank you, but I couldn't have done it without you," Jana said.

Cítila radost a úlevu.

She felt joy and relief.

Uvědomila si, že pravá síla nebyla v soutěžení, ale v tvořivosti a odvaze riskovat.

She realized that the true strength was not in competing, but in creativity and the courage to take risks.

Ten den na Staroměstském náměstí se Jana naučila více než jen prodat.

That day in Staroměstské náměstí, Jana learned more than just how to sell.

Naučila se věřit v sebe a v budoucnost, kterou s Luďkem mohli společně utvářet.

She learned to believe in herself and in the future she could create together with Luděk.

A to bylo víc než dost.

And that was more than enough.
