Položila je na stůl a usmála se.

„Jakube, musíš se trochu uvolnit,“ řekla s úsměvem.

„Debata není jen o tom, co říkáme, ale jak to říkáme.“

Jakuba ovšem tížilo něco jiného.

Chtěl, aby byla jejich argumentace perfektní.

Obával se, že není připravený dost na to, aby porotu ohromil.

„Petro, já vím, ale potřebujeme mít všechno přesně.

Petra jen pokrčila rameny a vzala do ruky papír s poznámkami.

Petra merely shrugged and picked up a sheet of notes.

„Podívej, pracuješ na tom tvrdě.

"Look, you're working hard on this.

Ale musíme se taky spoléhat jeden na druhého.

But we also have to rely on each other.

Jinak se do toho zamotáme.“

Otherwise, we'll get tangled up."

Jak přicházely hodiny a minuty, Jakub a Petra opakovali a připravovali své argumenty.

As the hours and minutes passed, Jakub and Petra repeated and prepared their arguments.

Vzduch v kavárně byl plný vůně čerstvých květin a marmelády, zatímco venku se větrem nesly veselé melodie jarních písní.

„Ne, to ty jsi zapomněl na aktualizaci!“ odpověděla Petra s rozhořčením.

"No, you're the one who forgot the update!" responded Petra indignantly.

Kavárnou zazněl ostrý tón jejich argumentu, který přitáhl pohledy několika hostů.

Jakub se zastyděl.

Jakub felt embarrassed.

Chvíli bylo ticho, jen cinkání šálků a tlumený smích hostů vyplnily prostor.

Nakonec Petra zhluboka vydechla.

Jakub to chvíli zvažoval, pak přikývl.
