V Praze, na Staroměstském náměstí, začíná padat sníh.

In Prague, at Old Town Square, snow begins to fall.

Světla vánočního trhu blikají v rytmu známé koledy.

The lights of the Christmas market flicker in rhythm with a familiar carol.

Vůně svařeného vína a pečených kaštanů naplňuje vzduch.

The scent of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts fills the air.

Jana se pomalu prochází trhem s Lenku po boku.

Jana strolls slowly through the market with Lenka by her side.

Je to jejich tradice, ale dnes se Jana cítí zvláštně.

It's their tradition, but today Jana feels strange.

Myslí na bratra Marka, se kterým nemluvila už léta.

She thinks about her brother Marek, with whom she hasn't spoken in years.

„Jano,“ řekne Lenka starostlivě, „vím, že tě Marek trápí.

"Jana," Lenka says worriedly, "I know Marek bothers you.

Ale je možné, že by prostě chtěl být zase s tebou.“

But maybe he just wants to be with you again."

Jana přikývne a pohlédne na starou vánoční stánku s dřevěnými hračkami, kterou milovala jako dítě.

Jana nods and looks at an old Christmas stall with wooden toys that she loved as a child.

„Možná bych ho měla pozvat.

"Maybe I should invite him.

Třeba k té stánce, kde jsme si vždy kupovali dřevěné figurky.“

Perhaps to that stall where we always bought wooden figurines."

Lenka se usměje.

Lenka smiles.

„To je dobrý nápad.

"That's a good idea.

Třeba přijde.“

Maybe he'll come."

A tak Jana pošle zprávu Marekovi.

And so Jana sends a message to Marek.

Je nervózní, ale také nadějná.

She is nervous but also hopeful.

Když dorazí k hodinové věži, cítí v srdci směs očekávání a strachu.

When she arrives at the clock tower, she feels a mix of anticipation and fear in her heart.

Najednou uvidí známou postavu.

Suddenly, she sees a familiar figure.

Marek stojí kousek dál, s ruce v kapsách a pohledem upřeným na jejich oblíbenou stánku.

Marek stands a short distance away, hands in pockets, eyes fixed on their favorite stall.

„Mareku!“ zavolá Jana přes hluk davu.

"Marek!" Jana calls out over the noise of the crowd.

Marek se otočí.

Marek turns around.

Jeho pohled změkne, když ji uvidí.

His gaze softens when he sees her.

Pomalými kroky k ní přijde. Drží malou zabalenou krabičku.

He walks slowly to her, holding a small wrapped box.

„Jano,“ řekne tiše.

"Jana," he says quietly.

„Je to pro tebe.“

"This is for you."

Jana rozbalí krabičku.

Jana unwraps the box.

Uvnitř je dřevěná figurka anděla.

Inside is a wooden angel figurine.

Teď už se jim oběma lesknou oči.

Now, both of their eyes glisten.

Z kapsy vytáhne svůj dárek pro něj – drobný dřevěný medvídek, symbol jejich dětských let.

She pulls out her gift for him from her pocket – a small wooden teddy bear, a symbol of their childhood years.

„Odpustíš mi?“ ptá se Marek, jeho hlas jemný a plný naděje.

"Will you forgive me?" Marek asks, his voice gentle and full of hope.

„Ano,“ odpoví Jana a obejme ho.

"Yes," Jana replies and hugs him.

Chvíli tak stojí, nevšímajíce si okolního ruchu.

They stand there for a moment, ignoring the surrounding hustle and bustle.

Je to smíření, které oba potřebovali.

It is a reconciliation they both needed.

Zbytek večera stráví spolu, procházejí kolem tržních stánků, chutnají cukroví a mluví o všem, co zameškali.

The rest of the evening, they spend together, walking around the market stalls, tasting sweets, and talking about everything they missed.

„Co říkáš na společnou Štědrovečerní večeři?“ navrhne Marek s úsměvem.

"What do you say about having Christmas Eve dinner together?" Marek suggests with a smile.

„To bych moc ráda,“ odpoví Jana šťastně.

"I would love that," Jana replies happily.

A tak nad starým náměstím v Praze, obklopeni výzdobou a vánočním duchem, najdou Jana a Marek opět cestu k sobě.

And so, above the old square in Prague, surrounded by decorations and Christmas spirit, Jana and Marek find their way back to each other.

Není to jen setkání po letech, je to nové začátky pro oba, tam, kde vánoční vůně přinášejí teplo domova.

It's not just a meeting after years; it's a new beginning for both, where the Christmas scents bring the warmth of home.
