La Gemma, sempre pràctica, havia embotit de tot en la seva motxilla: aigua, una jaqueta extra i, com sempre previnguda, un inhalador.

Gemma, always practical, had stuffed everything into her backpack: water, an extra jacket, and, always prepared, an inhaler.

Al seu costat, el Pere, el seu germà gran, mirava amb desconfiança els núvols que es reunien al cel.

Beside her, Pere, her older brother, looked warily at the gathering clouds in the sky.

"Jordi, t'has d'anar amb compte", li deia, potser massa sovint per al gust aventurer del seu germà petit.

"Jordi, you need to be careful," he said, perhaps too often for his younger brother's adventurous taste.

A meitat del camí, tot semblava bé.

Halfway there, everything seemed fine.

Els arbres es movien suaument i el cel, tot i el fred, era blau.

Però, de sobte, Jordi es va aturar.

"He vingut aquí per veure-ho", va dir, resolut.

"I came here to see it," he said resolutely.

Amb el cor una mica dubtós, va utilitzar l’inhalador.

El seu alè es va restablir lentament i la seva decisió era clara: continuar.
