كانت الشمس تشرق بحرارة في سماء عمان في هذا الصباح الصيفي.

كان السوق المحلي مزدحماً بالناس، يعدون أنفسهم لعيد الأضحى وبداية العام الدراسي الجديد.

The local market was bustling with people preparing for Eid al-Adha and the beginning of the new school year.

الألوان الزاهية تملأ المكان، والأصوات تتناغم في الهواء مثل لحن احتفالي.

Vivid colors filled the place, and the sounds harmonized in the air like a festive melody.

في أحد أروقة السوق، كانت ليلى وزيد يسيران بحماس.

In one of the market's aisles, Laila and Zaid were walking enthusiastically.

ليلى كانت تركز على قائمة طويلة كتبتها بنفسها: دفاتر، أقلام، حقائب وكل ما تحتاجه للمدرسة.

Laila was focused on a long list she had written herself: notebooks, pens, bags, and everything needed for school.

كانت تخطو بخطوات سريعة، وعقلها شارد بالتفكير في الدراسة والواجبات القادمة.

She was walking quickly, her mind wandering, thinking about upcoming studies and assignments.

"يجب أن أحقق درجات عالية هذا العام"، فكرت ليلى.

"I must achieve high grades this year," Laila thought.

أما زيد، فكان يسير بجانبها مبتسمًا، يتأمل البسطات المتنوعة والوجوه المبتسمة من حوله.

As for Zaid, he was walking beside her, smiling, admiring the various stalls and the smiling faces around him.

"ليلى، انظري إلى تلك الزينة الجميلة"، قال مشيرًا إلى زينة العيد التي تملأ الجدران.

"Look at those beautiful decorations, Laila," he said, pointing to the Eid decorations adorning the walls.

تنهدت ليلى وقالت، "أعرف يا زيد، لكنها ليست أولوية الآن! يجب أن نكون مستعدين للمدرسة".

Laila sighed and said, "I know, Zaid, but it's not a priority right now! We need to be ready for school."

ضحك زيد قائلاً، "ليلى، لا تجعلي الدراسة تسيطر على حياتك. العيد مناسبة للفرح والاسترخاء أيضاً."

Zaid laughed and said, "Laila, don't let studying take over your life. Eid is an occasion for joy and relaxation too."

لكن ليلى لم تستطع تجاهل قلقها.

But Laila couldn't ignore her anxiety.

كانت متوترة حول الحفاظ على أدائها الأكاديمي، ولم يتركها هذا القلق بسلام.

She was tense about maintaining her academic performance, and this worry wouldn't leave her in peace.

بينما يكملان تسوقهما، توقفت ليلى فجأة.

As they continued their shopping, Laila suddenly stopped.

نظرت حولها وشعرت بالجو الاحتفالي والضحكات التي تملأ المكان.

She looked around and felt the festive atmosphere and the laughter filling the place.

فجأة، أدركت أنها كانت تفوّت لحظات السعادة التي تأتي مع العيد.

Suddenly, she realized she was missing out on the happiness that comes with Eid.

توقف زيد ولاحظ تغير ملامحها.

Zaid stopped and noticed the change in her expression.

قال بهدوء، "ما رأيك أن ننهي شراء اللوازم ونعود هنا للاحتفال؟"

He said calmly, "What do you think about finishing the school supplies shopping and coming back here to celebrate?"

ابتسمت ليلى لأول مرة منذ بداية اليوم وقالت، "أعتقد أنك محق يا زيد. لن أسمح للقلق بسرقة هذه اللحظات الجميلة."

Laila smiled for the first time since the beginning of the day and said, "I think you're right, Zaid. I won't let anxiety steal these beautiful moments."

استمرا في تسوقهما واشتروا ما تبقى من اللوازم المدرسية.

They continued their shopping and bought the remaining school supplies.

بعدها، عادا إلى السوق ليشاركا في احتفالات العيد، يلعبون، يضحكون ويمرحون مع الأصدقاء والعائلة.

Afterward, they returned to the market to partake in the Eid celebrations, playing, laughing, and having fun with friends and family.

وفي نهاية اليوم، لم تكن ليلى فقط مستعدة للعام الدراسي الجديد، بل شعرت بالسلام الداخلي والفرح.

By the end of the day, Laila was not only ready for the new school year but also felt a sense of inner peace and joy.
