While he was lost in his thoughts, Sameer placed his bag down and opened his laptop to finish his assignment before traveling.

Without realizing it, he picked up a laptop that looked like his from the neighboring table.

أمام الطاولة، جلست عائشة، وهي الأخرى طالبة تعتمد على حاسوبها لإنجاز مشاريعها.

In front of the table sat Aisha, who was also a student relying on her computer to complete her projects.

فأثناء انشغالها بشراء قهوة من البار، قامت بتغيير مكان جهازها مؤقتًا على الطاولة المشتركة.

While she was busy buying coffee from the bar, she temporarily moved her device to the shared table.

عندما عاد سمير إلى طاولته بعد شراء مشروبه، بدأ بفتح الملف، لكن الملف لم يكن مشروعه.

When Sameer returned to his table after buying his drink, he started opening the file, but the file wasn’t his project.

قرروا أن يعود فريد مع الكمبيوتر لإيصاله للعائشة دون أن يشعر أحد.

They decided that Farid would return with the computer to give it back to Aisha without anyone noticing.

ولكن بينما كانوا يخططون لذلك، وقفت عائشة مفزوعة وقالت بصوت عالٍ: "لقد اختفى حاسوبي! هل رآه أحد؟"

But while they were planning this, Aisha stood up alarmed and said loudly, "My computer has disappeared! Has anyone seen it?"

توقف الجميع في المقهى عن الحديث ونظروا نحوها.

Everyone in the café stopped talking and looked at her.

شعر سمير أن الوقت حان ليكون صادقًا.

Sameer felt that it was time to be honest.

وقف وأشار لعائشة، وقال بصوت خجول: "أنا آسف، لقد أخطأت وأخذت حاسوبك. هذا هو."

He stood up and pointed to Aisha, saying in a shy voice, "I'm sorry, I made a mistake and took your computer. Here it is."

اعتذر سمير بأدب لعائشة، فضحكت وقالت: "لا بأس، كلنا نرتكب أخطاء."

Sameer apologized politely to Aisha, who laughed and said, "It's okay, we all make mistakes."

جلس الثلاثة معًا، وتحدثوا وتبادلوا القصص.

The three of them sat together, talked, and shared stories.

أنهى سمير واجبه أخيرًا، وشربوا جميعًا القهوة وسرعان ما أصبحوا أصدقاء.
