"أريد بهارات الكبسة الأفضل لديك"، قالت رانية بصوت مرتفع يكفي ليغطّي حديثها الأكثر حميمية مع فارس.

“I want the best spices for kabsa you have,” Rania said loudly enough to cover her more intimate conversation with Faris.

"هناك موضوع يجب أن نتحدث فيه بسرية"، همست لفارس وهي تتظاهر باختيار التوابل.

“There’s a matter we must discuss in private,” she whispered to Faris while pretending to choose spices.

فارس نظر حوله بتوتر ثم قال بصوت خافت، "رانية، يجب أن نجد مكاناً أكثر هدوءاً."

Faris looked around nervously and then said in a low voice, “Rania, we need to find a quieter place.”

لكن قبل أن يتحركا، ظهرت ليلى فجأة.

But before they could move, Laila suddenly appeared.

كانت ليلى هناك لشراء هدية عيد الأضحى لأحد أفراد عائلتها، وكان فضولها دائماً يحملها إلى أماكن غير متوقعة.

هل تودين مساعدتنا؟" كانت الإشارة واضحة لليلى، واستجابت بإيجابية دون أن تدرك شيئاً عن اللقاء السري.
