في يوم مشرق من أيام الربيع، قرر كريم وليلى الذهاب لاستكشاف أطلال قديمة قرب القرية.

On a bright spring day, Kareem and Layla decided to explore the ancient ruins near the village.

كان الهواء معبّقًا بعطر الزهور البرية، وأشعة الشمس تدخل من خلال الشقوق في الجدران الحجرية، تتراقص على النقوش الباهتة.

The air was filled with the scent of wildflowers, and sunlight streamed through cracks in the stone walls, dancing on the faded engravings.

كان كريم، بشغفه المعتاد، يسير بخطوات سريعة، بينما كانت ليلى تحاول مواكبته، ملقيةً نظرات حذرة على المكان حولهما.

Kareem, with his usual enthusiasm, walked quickly, while Layla tried to keep up, casting cautious glances at their surroundings.

قالت ليلى: "كريم، يجب أن نكون حذرين. لا نعرف ما الذي قد نجده هنا."

Layla said, "Kareem, we need to be careful. We don't know what we might find here."

أجابها كريم بحماس: "لا تقلقي، ليلى. سأكتشف شيئًا مذهلًا اليوم. ثقي بي!"

Kareem replied excitedly, "Don't worry, Layla. I'm going to discover something amazing today. Trust me!"

تعمقا في الأطلال، والوقت يمر بسرعة.

They delved deeper into the ruins, and time passed quickly.

أحسّت ليلى أنها تائهة وزاد قلقها، لكنها تابعت سيرها خلف كريم.

Layla felt lost and her anxiety increased, but she continued to follow Kareem.

أخيرًا، وصلا إلى باب قديم محفور عليه نقوش غامضة.

Finally, they reached an ancient door carved with mysterious inscriptions.

وقف كريم أمامه بفخر وقال: "انظري! سنفتح هذا الباب الآن."

Kareem stood proudly in front of it and said, "Look! We're going to open this door now."

بدأ كريم يحاول فتح الباب بحماس، بينما كانت ليلى تراقب باستغراب.

Kareem began trying to open the door eagerly, while Layla watched in astonishment.

بعد محاولات عديدة، فُتح الباب بصعوبة، ودخل كريم واثقًا... فقط ليجد مكنسة قديمة ومستلزمات تنظيف مغبرة.

After many attempts, the door opened with difficulty, and Kareem entered confidently... only to find an old broom and dusty cleaning supplies.

ضحكت ليلى قائلة: "كل هذا الجهد من أجل مخزن لمعدات التنظيف!"

Layla laughed and said, "All this effort for a storage of cleaning equipment!"

احمر وجه كريم خجلًا وقال: "ربما كنت مخطئًا هذه المرة، ولكن تعلمت الدرس. سأكون أكثر حذرًا في المرة القادمة."

Kareem's face turned red with embarrassment, and he said, "Maybe I was wrong this time, but I've learned my lesson. I'll be more cautious next time."

ابتسمت ليلى وقالت: "لا بأس، يمكننا العودة للمسار الصحيح معًا. لا يزال لدينا الوقت قبل الغروب."

Layla smiled and said, "It's okay, we can get back on the right track together. We still have time before sunset."

عادا معًا إلى الخارج، مستمتعين بجمال الطبيعة والوقت المتبقي قبل الاحتفال بعيد الفطر.

They returned outside together, enjoying the beauty of nature and the remaining time before the Eid al-Fitr celebration.

في طريق العودة، شعر كريم بالتقدير لصبر وحكمة ليلى، وتعلم أن الإنصات لعقلها يمكن أن يكون ذو فائدة كبيرة، خصوصًا في الأماكن الغامضة.

On the way back, Kareem felt grateful for Layla's patience and wisdom, and learned that listening to her intuition can be greatly beneficial, especially in mysterious places.
