In the heart of the Sahara Desert, golden sands stretch beneath an endless scorching sun.

Suddenly, a strong wind began to whistle from afar and started advancing rapidly.

"عاصفة رملية قادمة!" قال جمال بقلق.

"A sandstorm is coming!" Jamal said anxiously.

نظر حوله بعينين تهددت بالذعر.

He looked around with eyes threatened by panic.

كان يعلم أن العواصف الرملية في الصحراء لا تُسَامح أبداً.

He knew that sandstorms in the desert are never forgiving.

على الطرف الآخر، كانت ليلى مركزة على الهدف.

On the other hand, Laila was focused on the goal.

هي تعلم ما الذي بحثت عنه.

She knew what she was looking for.

لكن الآن، كان عليهم أن يقرروا بسرعة.

But now, they had to decide quickly.

"هناك كهف قريب. نستطيع الوصول إليه قبل أن تضرب العاصفة"، قال جمال، محاولاً أن يُطمئن نفسه وليلى أيضًا.

"There's a cave nearby. We can reach it before the storm hits," Jamal said, trying to reassure himself and Laila as well.

توقفوا لحظة.

They paused for a moment.

رفعت ليلى رأسها لترى العاصفة تتقدم، والغبار المتصاعد يغطي السماء.

Laila raised her head to see the approaching storm, and the rising dust covering the sky.

"هل نذهب للكهوف الآن؟ لدينا القليل من الوقت"، سأل جمال بنبرة تحتاج لثقة.

"Should we go to the caves now? We have little time," Jamal asked with a tone needing confidence.

لم تكن ليلى قد عرفت جمال منذ وقت طويل، لكنها سمحت لاحساسها الداخلي بقيادتها.

Laila hadn't known Jamal for long, but she let her inner instinct guide her.

"سأتبعك، جمال. وسنجد الأعشاب في وقت لاحق."

"I will follow you, Jamal. We will find the herbs later."

ساروا نحو الكهف بسرعة، مع الرياح تدفعهم من الخلف.

They hurried toward the cave, with the wind pushing them from behind.

أمام مدخل الكهف مباشرة، رأت ليلى نباتًا نادرًا يزهر بين الصخور.

Right at the entrance of the cave, Laila saw a rare plant blooming between the rocks.

"هذا هو!" صرخت، ثم التفتت لجمال. "سأجمع بعضه بسرعة."

"This is it!" she shouted, then turned to Jamal. "I'll quickly gather some."

جمعت ليلى بعض العينات بعجلة، ثم ركضوا إلى داخل الكهف.

Laila hastily collected some samples, then they ran inside the cave.

يدوي صوت العاصفة في الخارج، لكنها لا تصل إلى داخل الأمان حيث يختبئون.

The sound of the storm roared outside, but it didn't reach the safety within where they hid.

بعد مرور العاصفة، خرجوا من الكهف ليجدوا الصحراء قد استقرت مرة أخرى تحت أشعة الشمس.

After the storm passed, they emerged from the cave to find the desert had settled under the sun's rays once again.

أطلت ليلى نحو جمال بابتسامة ممتنة، أما جمال فقد شعر برضا داخلي لم يعرفه منذ فترة طويلة.

Laila gazed at Jamal with a grateful smile, while Jamal felt an inner satisfaction he hadn't known in a long time.

"لقد أنقذت حياتنا، جمال. وأنت أيضًا سمحت لي بتحقيق هدفي"، قالت ليلى بلطف.

"You saved our lives, Jamal. And you also allowed me to achieve my goal," Laila said gently.

أومأ جمال، وشعر بأن الثقل الذي كان يحمل على عاتقه منذ زمن قد زال.

Jamal nodded, feeling the burden he had been carrying for so long had lifted.
