في يوم مشمس من أيام الصيف في واحدة من المجتمعات السكنية الراقية في شمال القاهرة، كان حسن يستعد لحفل زفاف ابنته ليلى في منزلهما الفاخر.

On a sunny summer day in one of the upscale residential communities in northern Cairo, Hassan was preparing for his daughter Leila's wedding at their luxurious home.

الأشجار الخضراء وباقات الزهور تزينت لاستقبال مناسبة خاصة كهذه.

The green trees and flower bouquets were adorned to welcome such a special occasion.

حلم حسن كان أن تكون الليلة مثالية، وعرس ليلى يكون مثيرًا للإعجاب.

Hassan's dream was for the night to be perfect and Leila's wedding to be impressive.

بينما كانت التحضيرات قائمة، سمع حسن صوت ضجيج قادم من منزل قريب.

While the preparations were underway, Hassan heard a noise coming from a nearby house.

كان عمر، جارهم، يقوم بأعمال بناء.

It was Omar, their neighbor, who was doing construction work.

شعر حسن بالتوتر، فهذا يمكن أن يفسد فرحة اليوم.

Hassan felt anxious because this could spoil the joy of the day.

قرر التوجه إلى عمر.

He decided to approach Omar.

عندما التقى به، حاول حسن بعقلانية التحدث معه.

When he met him, Hassan tried to talk to him rationally.

"يا عمر، اليوم هو حفل زفاف ليلى، وأحتاج إلى هدوء من أجل هذا اليوم. هل يمكن تأجيل أعمال البناء لبعض الوقت؟"

"Oh Omar, today is Leila's wedding, and I need some peace for this day. Could you postpone the construction work for a while?"

عمر، كان يتفهم الضغوط لكنه كان بحاجة لاستكمال عمله أيضًا، فاقترح حلاً وسطًا بإيقاف الأصوات العالية لفترة من الزمن.

Omar, understanding the pressures, needed to complete his work too, so he suggested a compromise by pausing the loud noises for a period of time.

وافق حسن على هذه التسوية، شاكراً له تعاونه.

Hassan agreed to this arrangement, thanking him for his cooperation.

مع اقتراب المساء، بدأ الضيوف يصلون والفرح يملأ الأجواء.

As evening approached, the guests began to arrive, and joy filled the air.

فجأة، انقطع التيار الكهربائي.

Suddenly, the power went out.

عم الظلام وتخلل القلق بعض الحضور.

Darkness prevailed, and some of the guests felt anxious.

هنا، تعاون حسن وعمر من أجل إصلاح الموقف بسرعة.

بينما أضاءت الشموع المكان، شعر الجميع بدفء خاص، وتحوّل الحفل إلى تجمع حميمي تحت ضوء الشموع.

جمع الحي كله لاستعادة البهجة، واستمرت السهرة بالضحكات والموسيقى، تاركين جزءًا من قلوبهم بين تلك الشموع المضيئة.

The entire neighborhood came together to restore the joy, and the evening continued with laughter and music, leaving a part of their hearts amidst those glowing candles.
