"Riaan het geglimlag en langs haar gestaan, die kamera vergeet vir 'n oomblik.

Riaan smiled and stood next to her, forgetting the camera for a moment.

"Ek sou nêrens anders wou wees nie," het hy gesê.

"I wouldn't want to be anywhere else," he said.

Hulle het daar gestaan, die uitsig geniet, en geweet dat hulle saam iets besonders oorwin het.

They stood there, enjoying the view, knowing they had conquered something special together.

Het die kamera dit alles vasgevang?

Did the camera capture it all?

Nee.

No.

Maar die herinnering het in hul harte gebly.

But the memory remained in their hearts.
